Current students in higher education can sign up with UNiDAYS to get discounted deals on many products and services, spanning food and drink, beauty, fashion and more.

Museums

Emerson College provides free admission and discounts for students, staff, and faculty to Boston museums.

The Boston Public Library offers passes to a wide variety of Boston museums and historic sites.

Access to the U.S.S. Constitution Museum is free, with a suggested donation between $10 and $15 for adults.

Transportation

The MBTA's Youth Pass Program offers reduced fares to young adults with low income. The program is a partnership between the T and participating cities and towns.

Amtrak offers students between ages 17-24 the chance to save 15% on purchases made one (1) day in advance with their national student discount.

The City of Boston provides discounted passes for our public bike share via Blue Bikes. People who participate in public assistance programs or otherwise have a qualifying income can receive the discount.

Join Zipcar through Emerson College and save up to $55 on an annual membership.

Entertainment & Events 

The Public Open Night at the Observatory is a chance for people to come observe the night sky through telescopes and see things they otherwise might not get to see, and learn some astronomy as well. We have run the Open Nights since 1967.  The Open Nights are held most Wednesday evenings throughout the year, weather permitting. 

Movies

AMC Theaters provides 30% off tickets every day for showtimes before 4:00 p.m.

Theatre & Music

Emerson students, faculty and staff can get one free ticket to any in-person ArtsEmerson theatre performance, film screening, or concert by presenting a valid Emerson College ID at the Box Office on the day of the event. 

The Celebrity Series offers special student pricing for select performances throughout the season, including advance student tickets and student rush tickets for events at Symphony Hall, the Berklee Performance Center, NEC's Jordan Hall, and other locations.

Sports

Student9s is the Official Red Sox ticket program for college students. Enroll in the program to gain access Red Sox home game tickets and access exclusive student offers for events at Fenway Park.

Learning Tools

Libraries 

The Iwasaki Library provides access to materials essential to the curriculum at Emerson College, as well as guidance to find whatever research you need. Study spaces are also available at the Library.

The Boston Public Library (BPL) offers so much stuff — in addition to books, movies, magazines — both in print and online; they also have great events, contests with fun prizes, and classes and training, at no cost.

The Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) provides access to books, magazines, and films, and also offers wireless printing. You can also find trainings and courses available for patrons. 

Publications

With links provided by the Library, anyone with an Emerson email account can sign up and get free digital access to the following newspapers

  • The New York Times,
  • The Washington Post,  
  • The Wall Street Journal, and
  • The Chronicle of Higher Education

The Library also provides access to hundreds of magazines, and Flipster has dozens of magazines available in a full, in-color, digital layout. From Fast Company, to The Hollywood Reporter, and even Vogue, you can find anything you're looking for.

Technology

Access streaming video databases via the Iwasaki Library to watch thousands of films, news footage, and documentaries.

Device Loans & Tech Support

The Iwasaki Library provides laptop computers for full-time Emerson students to use within the Library.

Emerson IT Help Desk technicians can work to diagnose issues with personal student machines (not Emerson-owned) on a no-risk, best effort basis, at no cost to the student.IT also offers free or low-cost software for Emerson Students.
