    Orientation Coordinator

    Riley is a Junior Interdisciplinary Studies major crafting her own curriculum in Creative Fiction Writing, Screenwriting and Film Direction with a minor in Environmental Studies from Lakeville, Minnesota. On campus, she is the Co-Junior Class President, as well as a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, serving as New Member Educator and Study Abroad Chair for this upcoming fall. She has worked on a multitude of sets through Emerson Independent Video (EIV) as an Executive Producer, Writer, and Director. She also spent the past semester abroad at the Kasteel Well program and her favorite part of orientation is New Student Move-In, the Welcome Show, and getting the new students excited for their start at Emerson!

    Mick is a Junior Musical Theatre major with a Dance minor and he’s from Rochester, NY. At Emerson, he is involved in Student Theatre, working with both MTAG and MTS. He also has modeled with YourMag in their April 2025 issue and is so excited to be one of this year’s Orientation Coordinators. His favorite parts of orientation are meeting new people, Move-In day, and having fun with everyone during training week and orientation week.

    Izzy is a junior Theatre Education major with minors in Dance and Business Studies from Marlboro, New York. On campus, Izzy is involved in Emerson Dance Company as a dancer, choreographer, and social media director. She has previously worked with Mercutio Troupe on one of their Spring 2025 productions (The Effect). She also serves as a Student Ambassador at the Visitor Center, and will be working as a Company Manager for Emerson Stage this upcoming year. Her favorite part of Orientation is doing the New Student Welcome Show, she loves getting the incoming students excited about their community at Emerson!

    Gracie is an Atlanta native, senior Media Arts Production major, and Environmental Studies minor, and they will be spending this year completing her BFA in writing for children’s environmental education television. On campus, she works as a Digital Producing Assistant for HowlRound Theatre Commons and in student film productions as a producer and director, where they won an EVVY for Outstanding Field Television Series for their producing work on the independent fantasy pilot Roll For Reality. Gracie is thrilled to be spending her third and final year in Orientation as an Orientation Coordinator and fostering community among Emerson’s newest students as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

    Sofia is a junior from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, majoring in Media Arts Production with a concentration in writing and directing, and also has a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. On campus, she works as a Technical Support Specialist at the DiBona Studios in Tufte, and just recently wrote, directed, and produced a short film with Emerson Independent Video! One of her favorite things about Emerson is how easy it is to get involved in film production. She is so thrilled to be kicking off her last year on the Boston campus with Orientation this fall, and is so excited to welcome this year’s new students!

    Coleman is a Theatre and Performance major with a minor in Dramatic Writing. She hails from Tolland, CT and is incredibly excited for orientation! She loves meeting new students and finding them places to find community on campus. One of those places for her has been Emerson Channel, where she wrote and produced “Joan”. She has also loved being involved with Emerson Stage as an actor and with the EVVY awards as a host. Outside of her extracurriculars, she also works at the Visitor Center as a Student Ambassador, where she gives tours for prospective students. She’s excited to welcome the class of 2029!
