Laurie Bramhall

Laurie Bramhall grew up in the Boston area and graduated with an MFA in Costume Design and Construction from Boston University and a BA in Theater / Costumes from Indiana University.

Her work in theater includes freelance Costume Design projects at The New Rep, Guthrie Theater, Darmouth College, Anna Myers Dance Company, Bostonian Society and Boston University Opera Theater. She spent seven years at the Guthrie Theater as a Costume Design Assistant working with some of the top theatrical designers in the country.

Her teaching credits include costume design at Tufts University and Brandeis University as well as a visiting artist position at Dartmouth College. She has freelanced at many local organizations including ART, Boston Ballet and Huntington Theater.

For the past 15 years, Laurie has been very active in the feature film scene in New England working as a Set Costumer, Key Costumer, Stitcher and Background Costumer. Her film credits are featured on IMDB.

She was the Costume Department Craft Representative for IATSE Local 481- Studio Mechanics and is a member of United Scenic Artist 829.
