Dr. Tuesda Roberts views educators as standing between multiple realms- between what was and what will be, between what never should have been and futures that have been dreamt of for so long. For those reasons, she is committed to supporting faculty members’ efforts to explore the ways in which pedagogy, the evolution of academic and social selves, academic content, and sociocultural knowledge are intertwined.
Dr. Roberts received her B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, her M.A. in Foreign Language Education from New York University, and her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University. She is a Southern-born, Southern-raised woman who appreciates being in nature and a good, crusty serving of fresh peach cobbler.
