About the Graduate Communication Disorders MS Program
Ranked among the top graduate programs of its kind nationwide by U.S. News & World Report, Emerson College’s on-campus Communication Disorders MS program will provide you with the academic and hands-on clinical experience to make an impact on the lives of people living with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. You will be exposed to a variety of clients with speech and language disorders and diverse populations that will prepare you for a wide range of career opportunities.
Housed in the School of Communication’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, the course of study offers you the opportunity to apply developmental, cognitive, psychosocial, behavioral, and medical models to the assessment and treatment of a broad range of communication delays and disorders. The program is designed to fulfill the requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing (ASHA) Certification.
