What are the key components of a strategic plan?
Key components include the mission, vision, and values of the College. This information is used as a foundation for developing strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives to successfully actualize these priorities.
Who is involved in the process?
The strategic planning process is inclusive and invites a wide array of feedback and opportunities for input.
The first two phases of the strategic planning process were led by an Executive Committee and a Steering Committee. As the College moves into Phases 3–6, an Executive Team and three Working Groups are leading the development and execution of the draft strategic plan. Throughout the process, we have engaged faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry and community partners, and more through focus groups, interviews, and surveys. In addition, past reports, data, surveys, and department and unit reviews will be analyzed to help inform Emerson’s next strategic plan.
How can I participate?
We appreciate your interest and invite you to participate in the many stakeholder engagement events that will be scheduled throughout the Fall 2024 semester! We also encourage you to provide your ideas and questions via this confidential feedback form and to view regular updates on the strategic planning website.
