Overview
- A student who is participating in a graduation ceremony does not need a ticket for themself.
- Ceremony tickets are free of charge and any attempt to sell or buy tickets should be reported to Emerson and could result in all of a student’s tickets being voided.

Which ceremony do I attend?
Your program of study determines which ceremony you will attend; to confirm your ceremony, consult this list of graduate programs and undergraduate departments. All graduates may attend the All-College Commencement.
Order and download tickets
You must Register to Participate in the ceremony to be eligible to order tickets and registration will open on March 16, 2026. Approximately 15 minutes after you have registered, you may order and download your guest tickets by clicking the link in your confirmation email or visiting emersongradtickets.universitytickets.com.
Your order will be complete when you have a PDF of your ticket. Ordered tickets may be accessed at any time by selecting My Orders at the top of the ticketing site.
After April 12, 2026 all unordered tickets will be released to the waitlist. If you do not have a PDF of your ticket, your ticket order is not complete.
Additional Ticket Information
Waitlist
Students may request two (2) extra tickets by joining a waitlist when they place their initial ticket order. Waitlist tickets are sourced from donated or unclaimed tickets and are not guaranteed. If there are extra tickets, requests will be fulfilled one ticket at a time in the order they were received, starting on April 13, 2026. Recipients will be notified by email and have 72 hours to claim their waitlist ticket before it expires and is offered to the next person on the list.
Sharing Tickets
Sharing tickets is encouraged! If you would like more tickets, please ask other candidates participating in their ceremony if they will have tickets they will not be using. Seating is general admission, so guests will still be able to sit together. All seats have been allocated. Please help us make sure there are no empty seats by sharing or donating your unwanted tickets!
Donated Tickets
Students may donate unused tickets on the ticketing site. When you select the ceremony you wish to donate tickets to, all of your unclaimed tickets for that ceremony will be donated and cannot be retrieved online.
You must order the tickets you will be using before you donate. If you no longer need your already ordered tickets, please give them to your peers—we don’t want empty seats! It doesn’t matter whose name is on the ticket.
Children
Children aged two (2) years and older will be required to have their own ticket. Also, please be aware that strollers will not be allowed into the seating area and must be stored in the lobby.
Livestream Broadcast
Guests who are unable to attend our ceremonies can join us via livestream, our view the recordings later.
