The Cultural Engagement Center (CEC) is a space where students can connect, reflect, and grow through engaging with different perspectives, experiences, and identities. Our space is located on the 4th floor of 172 Tremont St.
Our office supports all students in exploring their values, backgrounds, and lived experiences while building meaningful connections across differences. We do this work through programming, conversations, and shared experiences. The CEC offers opportunities to learn from one another, challenge assumptions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around us.
At the CEC, culture is a daily expression of our lives. We value creativity, storytelling, and self expression as powerful tools to build connection and community. Our space is designed to be welcoming and dynamic, serving as a student lounge during the day, and a meeting space for Cultural Organizations to host meetings and events in the evening. Students are encouraged to engage openly, show up as their authentic selves, and participate in cultural celebrations.
Our office is deeply committed to collaboration across the community, including students, staff, or faculty. Building a culture of care and cultural celebration is a shared effort. Through this collaboration, we foster a community where individuals feel connected, supported, and inspired by the range of perspectives and experiences around them.
Come visit us in the Cultural Engagement Center! We look forward to meeting you.
