The Research Hub hosts full-day, off-campus writing retreats designed to give faculty uninterrupted time and a supportive environment to advance their scholarly and creative work. Retreat locations have included MIT Endicott House and the Prospect Street Writers’ House, and will soon include Trident Booksellers, and Endicott College’s Misselwood House, among others. These retreats offer faculty a peaceful setting away from everyday responsibilities, along with structured writing time and opportunities to connect with colleagues. Participants consistently report that the change of environment, dedicated focus time, and sense of community help them make significant progress on projects they might otherwise struggle to move forward during the busy semester.
