Research & Writing Retreats

Fall & Spring

Modality: In-person

Emerson will host writing retreats for faculty and staff at two points in the year, to offer time, space and community for writing and research engagement.

One Day Fall Writing Retreat

Sponsored by the School of Communication and open to all faculty at Emerson, this is a one day retreat focused on concentrated time for faculty to gather for concentrated writing time, soft programming, with food and refreshments.

Three Day Spring Writing Retreat

At the end of the academic year, Emerson College will offer a fully funded writing retreat, set near the ocean in rural New England. This retreat will offer a fully funded experience for faculty to write, engage in workshops and programming around research production and capacity, and to nurture new ideas while away in community.
