Explore a career in publishing with Emerson’s Publishing and Writing Master’s program. Whether your goal is to work as an editor, literary agent, or writer, you’ll learn the skills needed to build a career in book, magazine, or digital publishing.

Located in the publishing hub of downtown Boston, you’ll network and intern at a large variety of publishers while you grow your skills in writing and editing, production and design, and marketing. Our on-campus extracurriculars include working at two award-winning literary journals, teaching opportunities, and more.

Available full-time or part-time to fit your needs, Emerson’s Publishing and Writing Master’s is 40 credits and taught by Publishing professionals.
