Division of Community, Culture, & Belonging
The Division of Community, Culture, and Belonging (CCB) leads and supports practices, programs, and initiatives that strengthen the Emerson experience and advance the College’s values of creativity, innovation, inclusion, curiosity, equity, expression, and collaboration. We work across Emerson’s campuses and with neighborhood partners in support of Emerson’s mission to educate and elevate extraordinary artists and communicators for the betterment of humanity.
Global Engagement and Programs
The Office of Global Engagement and Programs (GEP) is based in academic affairs and internationalizes our College. They explore new global academic programs and partnerships, builds exchange opportunities, supports international students, and enhances cross-cultural learning and scholarship
Emerson Prison Initiative
The Emerson Prison Initiative (EPI) democratizes access to higher education in Massachusetts by offering a pathway to a bachelor’s degree from Emerson College to people who are incarcerated.
Cultural Engagement Center
The Center is based in Student Affairs and offers inclusive programs, cultural celebrations, and collaborative initiatives that bring students together to share traditions, explore diverse perspectives, and learn from each other. Their programs highlighting the many ways people express themselves through heritage, art, language, and practices.
Elma Lewis Center
The Elma Lewis Center creates and sustains relationships with community-based organizations and movements that center community voices and organize at the grassroots for transformational healing and change.
Student Success
The Office of Student Success connects students with services and support for their academic, financial, interpersonal, personal and wellness concerns.
