The demands surrounding faculty development are as follows:
Administration provides incentives for faculty including, but not limited to, stipend, department budget increase, to participants.
Continue existing incentives. Propose a second-level of training to be discussed and affirmed at Faculty Assembly.
Spring semester at Faculty Assembly.
Materials from faculty bias training be available to students.
Tuesda Roberts will discuss learning goals and areas covered for the three levels of training with students. Learning goals of the three training sessions can be posted on the website.
Spring 2021 semester.
Faculty Assembly approve a second-level cultural competency training run by Tuesda Roberts.
Discussion at February Faculty Assembly meeting.
Discussed at February 23 Faculty Assembly. Vote passes to continue conversation with Dr. Tuesda Roberts and Samantha Ivery.
One Faculty Assembly meeting per semester be dedicated to bias training.
