The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides immigration and campus support services for Emerson’s international student community:
- We offer immigration advising for students in F-1 status, exchange visitors, and others on matters related to immigration status, U.S. employment authorization, and international travel.
- We offer coursework and programming for English Language Learning.
- We collaborate with campus partners on resources to enhance international student academic success, community belonging, leadership development, and career preparedness.
- We promote campus organizations, events, and initiatives that reflect Emerson’s global voices.
OISS supports all international students attending Emerson College. Our main campus is in the heart of the historic city of Boston, but we also have additional campuses in Los Angeles and the Netherlands at Kasteel Well. Additionally, we engage with our students enrolled at Paris College of Art (Paris, France) and other global programs and partnerships.
International Students and Scholars falls under Emerson’s Office of Global Engagement and Programs. Together we provide strategic vision and assistance for College internationalization initiatives in the areas of Education Abroad and Domestic Programs (EADP), as well as Global Partnerships.
