College Health & Safety

Emerson is providing this information based on its current plans and in accordance with health and safety information currently available. Emerson may, in its discretion, or under direction of government or health authorities, change plans regarding modalities of courses or activities, and physical access to any facilities.

Students who are entering grades 10, 11 and 12 during the 2023–2024 academic school year who possess a strong desire to learn more about intersections of business, marketing, and creative enterprises. This program is a good fit for individuals who can appreciate the benefits of blending different perspectives from people of different backgrounds, identities, and experiences. The ideal student wants to meet and learn from established business practitioners, thought leaders, and consultants. That student also has the desire and maturity to receive constructive criticism about their work.


Application Materials

Each candidate must submit the required online application, a non-refundable $60 application fee, and the following documents:

  • Student Statement of Purpose: In one or two pages, please describe:
    1. What do you hope to achieve during the Institute?
    2. A significant event, experience, or moment that you believe has prepared you for the Institute.
  • Essay: In one-two pages please respond to the following question: How do you see the world of marketing and the creative industry progressing in 5, 10, or 20 years? What role do you hope to play?
  • Teacher Recommendation: Please submit at least one recommendation, completed by a teacher who knows your work or by a guidance counselor. 

International Student Applicants

Applications will be open in November/December 2022. We will accept applications through April 15, 2023. 

Admission to Emerson College's Arts and Communication Pre-College Programs is on a rolling basis. We suggest applying early, as space is limited. Admission decisions are made frequently.
