Here is a list of available safety and emergency preparedness trainings:

ALICE Training 

Emerson College uses a hostile intruder training program known as ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate). The ALICE training program educates and empowers individuals to make proactive decisions on what actions to take in the event of a hostile intruder incident.

ALICE trainings are open to all students, faculty, and staff. To inquire about scheduling an ALICE training, please contact the Emerson College Police Department at 617-824-8555.

CPR/AED Training

The Emerson College Police Department offers students, faculty, and staff cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator (CPR/AED) courses that provide the community with lifelong skills that may one day help you save a life. This hands-on, instructor-led course teaches participants how to respond in a cardiac and breathing emergency and includes the use of AEDs.

Fire Safety Awareness Training

In the event of a fire, it is important that you know what to do. The Fire Awareness Training provides Emerson community members an opportunity to review some basic fire prevention safety measures along with evacuation procedures.

Emergency Preparedness Training 

The Emergency Preparedness Training provides an overview of how to prepare and respond to various types of emergencies that may affect Emerson College. This training also covers the various emergency preparedness tools and resources available to Emerson community members.
