Brand and Design
The Brand and Design staff manages the College’s visual identity across all projects, ensuring that Emerson’s stories are conveyed through vibrant graphic design and consistent branding in both digital and print collateral. Typical projects may include, but are not limited to, digital advertisements; social media content and campaigns; presentations and reports; brochures and catalogues; posters, invitations, and newsletters; direct mail; and environmental graphics.
We capture dynamic photography and videography of our community in action, and maintain a robust library of photo assets. Our public visual library is available on Canto, our photo repository. To request photo coverage of significant College events, such as Commencement, submit our project request form. If you are managing your own event photography/videography, you will need to post a Notice of Photography and Video sign. Order a sign from the Print Copy Center.
The Brand Center
The Emerson Brand Center is a central resource for everything related to our brand, including positioning, messaging, logos, and visual identity. The information available in the Center will guide you in representing Emerson accurately and consistently.
Please note that access to the Brand Center is limited to the Emerson community. You will need to log in with your Emerson credentials to access the site.
Editorial
The Editorial staff creates and curates content about our vibrant community, amplifying the stories that embody the College’s mission, vision, values, and priorities.
We produce engaging content that brings Emerson’s brand to life across platforms, including our news site, Emerson Today; our website; and our alumni magazine, Expression. We work in close collaboration with Brand and Design & Institutional Communications to tell the impactful stories of Emerson and Emersonians around the world.
