College Health & Safety

Emerson is providing this information based on its current plans and in accordance with health and safety information currently available. Emerson may, in its discretion, or under direction of government or health authorities, change plans regarding modalities of courses or activities, and physical access to any facilities.

Schedule

Digital Filmmakers Studio classes meet on the following schedule:

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and some days 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (with a break period provided from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for dinner)  
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Digital Filmmaker's Sample Schedule

10:00 A.M. EST Lecture, discussion, equipment demo, software demos, project pitches or morning check in meeting and discussion of how final projects are going Week round up, critique works in progress
12:00 p.m. EST Break
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 P.M. EST

Afternoon exercise followed by critique session, project pitches, break out production meetings, software demos or shooting final projects, production meetings with professors

Free Time

4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. EST Break
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST

Some nights with editing lab or intro to film

The College also reserves the right to rearrange its courses and class hours, to drop courses for which registration falls below the minimum enrollment, and to change instructor assignments.
