Areas of Greatest Need

Our Giving Priorities

Our top priorities are to provide our students with the financial aid they need to continue their education. A gift to the COVID-19 Impact Fund, One Emerson Scholarship Fund, Empower Fund, or Momentum Scholarships will make an immediate impact on Emerson students and help us get closer to our $10 million goal.

Student Assistance Fund

The Student Assistance Fund makes small awards to help eligible students with indirect costs of attendance such as books, printing and copying, film, developing, other required course supplies, personal items, transportation, and food. This fund was established primarily through the generous support of Emerson staff and faculty members, demonstrating their commitment to the success of Emerson students inside and outside the classroom.

Student Assistance Fund (SAF) award amounts generally range in value from $10 to a few hundred dollars. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students may apply. Applicants submit their requests to the Office of Student Success and must indicate the specific purpose(s) of their request, including item(s) and estimated costs, in the short online application.
