Community Health & Engagement has a dual purpose. We oversee the College’s transition and in-house management of COVID-19 including community education, testing, and monitoring of the status of COVID-19 on campus. We also lead the navigation of community health safety guidelines as new community health issues occur.

Community Health & Engagement also works to increase community involvement by providing community members with tools to create a culture that supports wellness within Emerson College. Our goal is to create an environment that empowers everyone in the community to maintain their well-being. We collaborate with students, faculty, and staff on community-wide- health initiatives. We also develop relationships with stakeholders to work together to address health-related issues that impact the Emerson community.

Future initiatives and events may include:

  • Coffee hours with staff and faculty
  • Informational sessions on community health issues
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Communication Strategies
  • Work/Life Balance Workshops
