Immigration Advising
Our experienced team of immigration advisors can assist you in understanding your immigration status from answering questions about your full-time course load, to reviewing your documents in preparation for travel, to applying for US work permission.
OISA Walk-In Hours
Fall 2024 Schedule: OISA staff holds walk-in hours three times a week for quick questions students might have that need in-person attention:
- Monday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Modified Winter Break Schedule: Beginning Thursday, December 19, 2024 through Wednesday, January 8, 2025, OISA walk-in hours will take place virtually via Zoom during the above-referenced times on days when the office is open.
The College will be closed Monday December 23, 2024 through January 3, 2025 for Winter Break. OISA will not offer appointments or walk-in times during this break but will monitor our general email at oisa [at] emerson.edu (oisa[at]emerson[dot]edu) and will respond to emergency requests only.
Spring 2025 Schedule: Beginning Monday, January 13, 2025, OISA will begin to offer daily walk-in times as follows:
- Monday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – In Person*
- Tuesday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – In Person
- Wednesday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Via Zoom
- Thursday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – In Person
- Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Via Zoom
