Spring 2025 Graduate Orientation Information

All incoming students are required to attend the Orientation Program on January 10, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Zoom.

International Students are expected to attend an in-person International Student Orientation in addition to the general orientation programming. It will take place Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 12 to 3 p.m. EST on the Boston Campus.

Boston-based students are invited to a drop-in Q&A in the Grad Student Lounge on Monday, January 13, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to start their first semester strong.

All students are invited to Online Q&A via Zoom, January 13, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Each program will host a Program Meeting or GPD Session for incoming students. Invitations for these events will be sent by the students’ academic departments.

All incoming students, regardless of program or modality, are required to attend a session with the Office of Equal Opportunity and the Healing and Advocacy Collective. Each incoming student will receive an invitation for a session. This session is mandatory.

The GSA will host an Org Fair for all Boston-based Graduate Students on January 24, 2025 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is an opportunity where students will be able to make connections with each other as well as many helpful offices and Grad Student Orgs. (Online students, fear not! We have lots of ways to connect virtually!)

  • Student IDs will not be activated if students have not uploaded the appropriate medical documentation.
  • Students must upload their ID Photo via the GET app prior to picking their ID up at the ID office.
  • ALWAYS check your emerson.edu email address, as that is where all official communications will be sent.
  • When logging into Zoom, always use your emerson.edu email address.
