Film Art students are not limited to pursuing their creativity in the just the classroom or studio spaces. The program offers students the opportunity to explore their craft while engaging with industry leaders and fellow filmmakers through student organizations, professional speaker series and attending international film festivals.

Ciné Club

Ciné Club is a student film organization that meets regularly to discuss independent film and filmmakers from around the world, hosting screenings and Q&A talkbacks with film directors.

Industry and Artist Talks

Paris College of Art and the Film Art program hosts virtual conversations with film makers and industry professionals to provide exposure to critical topics within the film industry and provide career guidance to Film Art students.

Film Festivals

International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR)

Held for more than 50 years, the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) is an annual film festival held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and is focused on independent and experimental films. Third year students attend the festival each year.

Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival

Founded in 1979, the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the world’s largest film festival dedicated to short films. In terms of audience and professional presence, it is the second largest film festival in France after Cannes. Second year students attend the festival each year.

ArtBound Initiative

To help launch their careers in the creative industries, Film Art students have the option to participate in the ArtBound Initiative program. Through this year-long experience, ArtBound provides career coaching in the fall semester and placement in a virtual internship in the spring.
